Traffic control is becoming increasingly important, at a time of economic recovery, and a growing insertion of Brazilian companies in a global context, generating ever greater commercial airflow. The segment also requires constant modernization, along with the new technologies available. On the other hand, the activity faces new challenges, such as the issue of drones, and other old ones such as illegal flights.
Addressing important issues, of unquestionable relevance and topicality for the entire sector and the companies linked to it, by DECEA, the following presentations will be made:

Luiz Henriques obtained his degree as an Electronic Engineer in 1979 from the University of Brasilia and completed his Master's Degree in Applied Electromagnetism in 1981 at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.

He was a professor at Military Engineering Institute (IME) and at University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), having started his career as an engineer at the National Institute for Space Research (INPE). He is one of the founders of Omnisys in 1997 and currently occupies the position of General Director of the company, a subsidiary of Thales Group.

Luiz Henriques has always worked in activities related to critical technologies, notably in the space and defense segments. Due to his contribution to the developments of Brazilian aeronautical industry, he was decorated in 2013 by the Brazilian Air Force with the Aeronautical Merit Medal, in the Official degree.
